About the job
We are looking for a skilled webmaster for ongoing work with our web and digital marketing services agency. We wear many hats and take care of web design, web hosting, website maintenance and management, online marketing (SEO, PPC, Social Media) and more.
The successful candidate will essentially be a Webmaster and be able to do a little bit of everything! From supporting clients, taking caring of various tasks on an ongoing basis, WordPress web design, to knowhow of cPanel and hosting accounts, etc.
Our ideal team member will also be responsible for initiating client services, whether that be setting up host accounts for new websites, migrating websites to our servers, setting up email accounts and so on. They will also need to have flexible availability, be attentive to detail and fully self-motivated.
A positive mindset and passion for technology, computers, hardware, and software are an absolute must. This position requires you to be able to work independently, as well as with the team and clients.

Effectively manage workflow and prioritise tasks across communication and project management platforms

Maintain accurate, up to date records of client credentials
Complete full website backups
Move websites between web servers
Migrate websites from http to https
Install, configure and administer Google Tag Manager Including MailTo click event tracking
Install, configure and administer Google Analytics and Google Search Console
Install and quality check Google Analytics Goals
Setup, configure and administer Google My Business
Install and quality check Facebook pixel
Install and quality check Google Remarketing pixel
Install and test ResponseTap Call Tracking Software
Setup Microsoft exchange users
Configure Microsoft Outlook, Mac Mail and other email clients to connect to Microsoft Exchange
Manage domain names (inc. DNS, nameservers, moving domains between registras)
Manage CloudFlare
Project manage communication with external suppliers
Install WordPress content management system
Administer WordPress content management system
Non-structural content updates (inc. version updates, plugin updates etc.)
Set up and test Contact 7 forms, success pages and Google Analytics goals
Fault find reports of email address not working (web server email and Microsoft exchange (via 3rd party)
Assist with technical requirements of ongoing digital marketing campaigns
Manage and maintain dedicated hosting servers (inc. maintaining hosting credentials)
Manage communication with external server supplier and technical support
Schedule and location
This is a full-time position so the time investment will typically be 40 hours per week and you’ll be working roughly within the hours of 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday.
Our company is based in Birmingham, UK, but roughly ⅔ of our team is remote. You can be based anywhere but must be willing to travel every once in awhile. (You can work from home!)
At this time, we are primarily looking for someone based in the United Kingdom but will accept applications from outside of the UK and consider if strong enough so please submit your application if this is you!
